What's included

Preventative vet care, under one roof.

Preventive veterinary care is the regular, proactive care your pet needs to stay healthy. Four core services, working together.

Why it matters

Pets do better with a vet who knows them.

01

Continuity catches changes.

Subtle shifts — weight, energy, appetite — only stand out when someone's been tracking them for years.

02

Faster decisions when something's wrong.

A vet with your pet's full history doesn't have to start from scratch on a sick visit.

03

Care that scales with age.

A puppy's needs are nothing like a senior cat's. Primary care adjusts as your pet does.

By life stage

Care that grows with your pet.

Visits every 3–4 weeks at first. Initial vaccine series, parasite prevention, spay/neuter planning, and nutrition guidance.

When more is needed

All under one woof.

Primary care covers the routine stuff. When your pet needs more — a same-day sick visit, surgery, or urgent care — you don't need to go anywhere else. Sploot handles 90%+ of urgent and emergency cases at our clinics, often for a fraction of typical ER pricing.

Common questions

Primary care, answered.

Do I need to commit to Sploot as my pet's regular vet to come in?

No commitment required. You're welcome to come in for a single visit — a wellness exam, a vaccine update, or a sick visit — and decide from there. Many of our clients start with one appointment and stay because of the experience, not because they signed up.

How do I send records from my old vet?

Call your previous vet and ask them to email your pet's full medical records to records@splootvets.com. We recommend reaching out at least 48 hours before your appointment, since some clinics take a couple of days to process the request.

Do you accept pet insurance?

Yes. We don't bill insurance directly, but we'll provide a detailed itemized invoice — most major insurers (Trupanion, Healthy Paws, Embrace, Nationwide, ASPCA, Pets Best, Lemonade) accept this for reimbursement. Ask the front desk and we'll walk you through it.

What payment options do you accept?

All major credit cards, debit, and CareCredit. For larger procedures, CareCredit financing lets you spread payments over 6–24 months. We also provide upfront estimates so you know what to expect before any treatment begins. (We're an animal hospital, so HSA/FSA cards aren't eligible.)

How do I get same-day or after-hours guidance?

Call us during open hours (8am–8pm, every day) and we'll triage over the phone — most issues we can either book the same day or guide you to the right next step. Outside of those hours, our voicemail provides instructions and the nearest 24/7 ER if your pet's situation can't wait until morning.

Ready when your pet is.

Book at any of our clinics in Denver, Chicago, Colorado Springs, or Salt Lake City — open 8 am to 8 pm, every day of the year.
